David Scheer, M.S., L.P.C. is an approved provider for the Veterans Choice Program.  Having spent the first part of his career in 3 different VA hospitals, treating hundreds of veterans, David has a special affinity for military veterans.  He has become certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD.

Additionally, David has extensive experience working with veterans struggling with substance use disorders.  In fact, for his doctoral dissertation, he developed a video based Cognitive Behavioral treatment for veterans in a residential recovery facility.

By participating in the Veterans Choice program, Ivy Road vows to provide local veterans with the highest standard of treatment, but in a more private and accessible setting than an actual VA hospital or Vet Center.
